Position Summary
Support the modernization of legacy enterprise applications through Java modernization, microservices implementation, cloud migration, containerization, and application transformation initiatives supporting IRS Common API Services.

Candidates
must be eligible to obtain IRS Staff-Like Access
following contract award.
Personnel requiring access to IRS facilities, systems, or Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) information must successfully complete the IRS personnel security process before beginning work. This includes:
IRS suitability determination
FBI fingerprinting
Background investigation (SF-85/SF-85P, as applicable)
Tax compliance verification
U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency verification
Execution of required Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and IRS security forms
Notes:
Strong preference for candidates with IRS or Federal Government IT modernization experience.
Experience with enterprise Java development, APIs, middleware, OpenShift, and microservices will be highly competitive.
