We are looking for an Amazing: Application Support Analyst (HYBRID @Porto)

Seniority: 3 - 5 years of experience

Location: 3x per week - Porto

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Application Support, IT Operations or a similar role.
• Experience providing technical and functional support to users in a corporate environment, preferably in the banking sector.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Good knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience working with Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of Ansible and Dynatrace.
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management tools.
• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with different support teams, including Application Development, Production and Operations.
• Good documentation skills, including the creation and maintenance of knowledge bases and operational procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while being an effective team player.
• A proactive and client-focused mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Professional fluency in English is mandatory.
• Professional French is a plus.

• Experience in the Financial Markets domain.
• Previous experience supporting banking applications and business-critical systems.
• Knowledge of application monitoring and automation tools.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Provide technical and functional support to users of banking applications, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of requests.
• Manage incidents, problems and change requests, coordinating with different levels of support.
• Monitor application performance and ensure the smooth running of business processes and workflows.
• Analyse application issues and communicate updates and resolutions to users.
• Process specific user requests, including data processing, extractions and operational activities.
• Coordinate application releases and support the operational maintenance of applications.
• Build and maintain a knowledge base covering common support issues and their resolutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures and support guidelines.
• Define control points within operational procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and provide relevant operational feedback.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous service improvement.
• Contribute to improving service quality and user experience.
