Application Support Engineer

Application Support Analyst | Dublin 18 (Hybrid) | €50k + €5k bonus

My client is one of Ireland’s Top 250 companies and holds a Platinum award for Excellence Through People. They’re hiring an Application Support Analyst to look after the systems that keep their warehouse and core operations running.

This is a hands-on, technical support role. When something fails, you’ll follow the transaction from the front end, through the API or integration, and into the database, then use logs, SQL and Postman to find the cause. You’ll work with Infor CloudSuite (M3 ERP, Factory Track, DMP), custom applications and B2B integrations, and you’ll have room to build real depth in enterprise ERP.

What you’ll be doing

🔹 Supporting the ERP and core business applications in a live production environment

🔹 Monitoring and troubleshooting B2B integrations, web services and scheduled data feeds

🔹 Writing SQL to investigate and reconcile data issues

🔹 Testing REST/SOAP APIs in Postman to isolate integration failures

🔹 Managing incidents and changes in Freshservice (ITIL-aligned)

🔹 Working with developers, BAs and third-party partners such as Infor support

🔹 Writing up RCAs, SOPs and knowledge base articles

What you’ll need

✅ 4+ years in IT, including 2+ in application support, ERP support or systems analysis

✅ Experience supporting an ERP system

✅ Production support experience in a live, business-critical environment

✅ Strong practical SQL (joins, subqueries, data reconciliation)

✅ API testing with Postman or similar

✅ An understanding of how integrations and data flows work (APIs, queues, file-based feeds; JSON, XML, CSV)

✅ Solid IT fundamentals: Windows, networking, AD/Entra ID, M365

✅ Based in Dublin, with a full driving licence and your own car

Nice to have

➕ Infor M3 / CloudSuite, ION, Infor OS or MEC

➕ Azure App Insights, New Relic or similar

➕ PowerShell, Python or Bash scripting

➕ ITIL 4, Azure, SQL or Infor certifications

💡 Got Infor M3 experience? I’d especially like to hear from you. There’s some flexibility on package for the right M3 background, and candidates planning to relocate to Dublin will be considered.

Head office in Leopardstown, 3 days on-site, 2 from home

💶 €50,000 base + €5,000 bonus

🕐 Occasional planned out-of-hours work for upgrades and maintenance
