- Monitor application and platform health, analyze alerts, and proactively identify reliability risks.
- Troubleshoot production issues across Java applications, SQL databases, Linux/Unix environments, messaging platforms, and distributed systems.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and problem management, helping implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
- Serve as a liaison among Application Development, Infrastructure, and Production Support teams to coordinate issue resolution and service improvements.
- Support application releases, deployments, upgrades, change activities, and production validation.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability using tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Automate recurring operational processes to reduce manual effort, improve recovery, and minimize operational toil.
- Develop and maintain runbooks, support procedures, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Support disaster recovery exercises, resiliency testing, operational controls, and audit-readiness activities.
- Support applications and services across AWS, OpenShift, and containerized environments.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams and participate in a rotating shift and 24x7 support model.
Note: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.
