Your Impact

We are seeking an experiencedApplications Developer to develop, maintain, enhance and support business-critical applications and systems.

This role is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and business analysis through to design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality technical solutions that support operational effectiveness and continuous improvement across the organisation.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support business applications and software solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test and implement new functionality and system enhancements.
• Perform application troubleshooting, root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Integrate business applications with Microsoft Office products and associated file formats.
• Develop and maintain database access functionality and data-driven solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Support software releases, upgrades and deployments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and project teams.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience delivering software solutions across the full application development life cycle.
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Expert knowledge of VB.NET and the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience integrating Microsoft Office applications and files using VB.NET.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft DAO API and SQL.
• Experience developing and supporting business-critical applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
