About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic Applications Specialist to support Malvern Panalytical’s biophysical and nanoparticle characterization technologies, including Microcalorimetry (ITC & DSC), Dynamic and Electrophoretic Light Scattering (Zetasizer Advance), Grating-Coupled Interferometry (Creoptix WAVE), and Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NanoSight Pro). Our technologies help scientists understand molecular interactions, stability, and nanoparticle behaviour, enabling confident decision-making in life science research. Working closely with customers, Sales, and internal teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality applications support and helping customers achieve success with our solutions. What you'll be doing: Deliver instrument demonstrations, pre-sales sample analysis, and proof-of-concept measurements Provide customer training, applications support, and troubleshooting across ITC/DSC, Zetasizer Advance, Creoptix WAVE, and NanoSight Pro Perform laboratory measurements in accordance with SOPs and contribute to method development as your experience grows Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Support, Marketing, and the global Applications community Generate application data and insights to support documentation, training materials, and marketing activities About you: A customer-focused mindset and enthusiasm for helping scientists solve technical challenges A degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline (PhD welcome but not required) Hands-on laboratory experience, ideally involving proteins, biomolecules, or nanoparticles.
