Applied AI Engineer (Agentic Systems)
£90,000 to £130,000 base + equity
Fully remote across the UK and Europe
The company
A Series B AI SaaS company headquartered in London is rebuilding how residential property is run, with an AI engine at the centre of the business. The founding team are repeat founders who have held senior operating and technology roles at a global tech company. AI isn’t a side feature here; it is the product.
What you’ll do
- Unify the existing AI workflows into one coherent agentic platform.
- Build a robust evaluation layer, with defined eval sets and pass thresholds that gate releases.
- Scale the agent infrastructure to support rapid growth into new markets and portfolios.
- Own real production problems: reliability, latency, cost, hallucinations, tracing and observability.
- Decide where an LLM, deterministic code or a human in the loop is the right answer.
What they’re looking for
- 3+ years in software engineering with a strong backend focus.
- Hands-on experience building agentic systems that have run in production with real users: breaking down tasks, orchestrating sub-agents, tool use, structured outputs and feedback loops.
- Recent experience at a product-led scale-up or AI-native company, where you owned and ran the agent work yourself.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Bonus: you’ve built shared agent tooling that other engineers reuse, or you build AI side projects in your own time.
Why join
- Your agents will run real business operations at scale, not demos or internal tools.
- You’d shape the core AI platform of a well-funded Series B company at an inflection point.
- Work alongside experienced founders who have scaled technology businesses before.
- Fully remote, with equity on top of base.
Please note
Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK or Europe, as visa sponsorship isn’t available. Corellia Talent is recruiting for this role on behalf of the client. Applications are handled in line with our privacy notice: corelliatalent.com/candidate-privacy
