Role Overview
A growing UK-based lead-generation and digital marketing agency is looking for an Appointment Setter to help turn inbound customer enquiries into qualified, booked appointments. The business supports service-based clients across the UK through digital advertising, websites, CRM systems and automation.
Reporting to the Director, you will be one of the first points of contact for people who have already expressed interest through advertising campaigns, websites or lead forms. You will respond quickly, understand each enquiry, qualify the opportunity and guide the customer towards the appropriate appointment or next step while representing several client brands accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact new warm inbound leads quickly and professionally following their enquiry.
- Qualify prospective customers through natural conversations and relevant questions.
- Book appointments, consultations, surveys or callbacks into the appropriate client calendar.
- Follow up consistently with leads who do not respond on the first attempt.
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, lead statuses, callbacks and next actions.
- Manage conversations across multiple client brands while keeping information and appointments accurate.
- Identify opportunities to improve lead-to-appointment conversion and share useful feedback with the wider team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in appointment setting, recruitment calling, telesales, customer service, sales support, lead qualification or a similar phone-based role.
- Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate lead and follow-up information.
- Fluent spoken and written English, with experience handling professional phone-based conversations.
- Comfortable working with warm inbound enquiries and guiding prospects towards appointments or appropriate next steps.
- Cape Town based and comfortable with UK work hours.
- UK-facing customer service, recruitment, sales or phone-based experience is advantageous.
- A diploma or degree is advantageous, although strong relevant experience will also be considered.
