Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, bilingual Appointment Setter who speaks fluent English and Spanish to convert incoming leads into confirmed appointments for salon and beauty service businesses targeting customers in New York.

The company has an established software platform that generates a high volume of leads. The primary challenge is converting these leads into appointments quickly, consistently, and effectively. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, a confident salesperson, and a results-driven professional who can engage prospects, follow up consistently, overcome objections, and upsell services when appropriate.

Candidates with 3–5 years of experience in the salon or beauty industry are strongly preferred. However, candidates from other professional backgrounds with proven sales, appointment-setting, or lead-conversion experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact incoming leads promptly through phone calls, text messages, email, or other designated communication channels.

  • Convert inbound leads into confirmed appointments for salon and beauty service businesses.

  • Follow up consistently with prospects to improve response rates and appointment conversion.

  • Engage potential customers professionally, understand their needs, and communicate the value of the services offered.

  • Handle customer questions, objections, and hesitations to move prospects toward booking an appointment.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell services and increase customer engagement and revenue.

  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions, follow-up activities, appointment status, and conversion outcomes within the company's software platform or CRM.

  • Manage a high volume of leads while maintaining responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail.

  • Ensure prospective customers receive timely and consistent communication to improve the overall customer experience.

  • Meet or exceed performance targets related to appointments booked, lead conversion, follow-up completion, and upselling.

  • Identify recurring lead-conversion challenges and recommend improvements to outreach and sales processes.

  • Collaborate with the team to improve appointment-setting strategies and contribute to business growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal communication skills in both languages.

  • Clear, professional spoken English suitable for communicating with customers in the New York market.

  • A neutral or light accent that is easy for New York-based customers to understand.

  • Proven experience in appointment setting, inside sales, telesales, customer engagement, lead generation, or sales development.

  • Strong persuasion, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.

  • Ability to convert leads into confirmed appointments and maintain consistent follow-up.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of incoming leads.

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and accountable for individual performance metrics.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems, lead management software, scheduling tools, and communication platforms.

  • Reliable internet connectivity and a suitable remote working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience working in the salon, spa, beauty, aesthetics, or personal care industry.

  • Experience booking appointments for salons, spas, beauty professionals, or service-based businesses.

  • Demonstrated success in lead conversion, sales, upselling, and appointment scheduling.

  • Experience working with customers or businesses in the United States, particularly New York.

  • Background in digital marketing, SEO, lead generation, or marketing operations.

  • Experience identifying opportunities to improve conversion rates and generate additional business growth.

  • Familiarity with sales KPIs, CRM reporting, and performance-based compensation models.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a confident, persuasive, and customer-focused professional who understands that appointment setting involves more than simply making calls. They know how to respond quickly to leads, build trust, create interest, overcome objections, and secure bookings.

A candidate with salon or beauty industry experience will have an advantage because they are familiar with the services, customer expectations, and booking process. However, strong sales ability, bilingual communication, consistent follow-up, and measurable conversion performance are the most important factors.

Application Requirements

Candidates must be based in Latin America and fluent in English and Spanish.

As part of the initial screening process, candidates must submit a short video introduction or call recording in which they speak about their professional background, relevant experience, and interest in the role. The recording will be used to assess spoken English clarity, communication skills, confidence, and suitability for customer-facing sales responsibilities.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview and may be asked to complete a brief role-play exercise demonstrating how they would contact a lead, handle an objection, and convert the prospect into a confirmed appointment.

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to respond to leads quickly, consistently convert prospects into appointments, drive upselling opportunities, and contribute to improved client satisfaction and business growth.
