Apps & Infrastructure – Solution Lead (Dutch Speaking)

Are you the person in the room who can shape a solution, make it credible to a client, and then ensure it gets delivered? At Avanade, we're looking for a Solution Lead who brings deep technical expertise in Application and Infrastructure, a sharp commercial instinct, and the ability to operate at any level — from hands-on architecture to executive stakeholder conversations.

This is not a pure delivery role. You will be the technical authority in our pursuit teams, helping clients understand what's possible, shaping winning proposals, and owning the credibility of our solutions before and after the contract is signed. Delivery experience is what makes that credible.

What You'll Do

Pre-Sales & Solutioning (Primary Focus)

• Partner with Avanade's sales team as the technical solution authority on strategic pursuits and bids.

• Lead discovery workshops and client envisioning sessions to define solution scope, architecture, and approach.

• Translate complex business challenges into compelling, commercially viable technical solutions.

• Develop and defend solution proposals, estimates, and presentations at C-suite and technical decision-maker level.

• Shape the technical narrative in RFP responses, ensuring solutions are differentiated, realistic, and deliverable.

• Build trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders during and beyond the sales cycle.

• Flex your seniority to the situation — operating as an architect-level voice on complex enterprise deals or as a strategic thought leader when clients need technology direction.

Client Delivery & Technical Oversight

• Take accountability for solution integrity from presales through to delivery — ensuring what was sold gets built.

• Provide technical leadership across frontend (Angular, React, Vue), backend (.NET / ASP.NET Core), and cloud (Microsoft Azure) engagements.

• Guide teams on architecture decisions, cloud-native design, CI/CD practices, and engineering standards.

• Act as an escalation point for technical risk, quality, and delivery assurance on active engagements.

• Oversee DevOps practices including Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, and YAML-based pipelines.

• Ensure data and integration patterns are fit for purpose across SQL, NoSQL, and API-driven architectures.

People & Practice Development

• Mentor and develop a team of engineers, supporting career growth, skills development, and engineering culture.

• Contribute to the Apps & Infrastructure practice — sharing IP, shaping offerings, and raising the bar on how we solution and deliver.

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and collaboration across technical and commercial teams.

What You Bring

Must-Have

• Proven experience in a pre-sales, solutioning, or technical bid role — you've shaped and won deals, not just delivered them.

• Strong technical background across modern application development (frontend, backend, API) and Microsoft Azure cloud architecture.

• Ability to build and present compelling solution narratives to both technical audiences and business decision-makers.

• Experience leading or contributing to RFP responses, estimates, and client workshops.

• Comfortable operating at multiple seniority levels depending on deal complexity and client maturity.

• Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch (fluent in both — required).

Strong Advantage

• Familiarity with Avanade or Microsoft partner ecosystem, offerings, or go-to-market motions.

• Experience with DevOps tooling: Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes.

• Background in team leadership or technical people management.

• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and modern engineering productivity tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot).

• Experience across SQL and NoSQL databases and data-driven application design.
