AR Specialist

Meztal is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing the full Accounts Receivable cycle for U.S.-based accounts, strong analytical and organizational skills, and advanced English proficiency.

This role is responsible for ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, proper payment application, and effective management of outstanding receivables while maintaining strong relationships with U.S.-based stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle, from invoicing and payment tracking to collections, cash application, and account reconciliation.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Monitor outstanding balances and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
• Manage collections activities and communicate directly with U.S.-based customers and stakeholders.
• Apply and reconcile incoming payments, ensuring accurate allocation to customer accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account disputes.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and AR aging reports.
• Perform regular account reconciliations and support month-end closing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, collection efficiency, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing the full-cycle Accounts Receivable process.
• Demonstrated experience handling U.S.-based customer accounts and collections.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate professionally with U.S.-based stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, cash application, account reconciliations, and AR aging.
• Experience resolving billing discrepancies and payment disputes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize deadlines, and work independently.
• Proven experience working with U.S.-based teams or stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting high-volume Accounts Receivable operations.
• Familiarity with U.S. billing practices and payment processes.
• Experience identifying and implementing improvements to AR and collections processes.
