The Opportunity: We have an immediate opening for a regular full-time Archaeologist to work a hybrid remote schedule based out of our Flagstaff , AZ office. Your Key Responsibilities: Working as a crew member on archaeological cultural resources surveys, monitoring, and excavation projects throughout Arizona and adjacent states. Assisting with laboratory work (e.g., washing and inventorying artifacts). Technical report writing/preparation. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or related field. Successful completion of archaeological field school. 1+ years of cultural resources management (CRM) experience. Possess a good understanding and ability to identify archaeological features and artifacts during cultural resources survey, monitoring, and excavation fieldwork. Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and in remote locations (camping is a possibility). Ability to walk up to 10 miles per day over steep terrain for extended periods of time. Willingness to work overnight and on weekends. Must be able to work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with government and Tribal agencies and personnel. What We Offer: Compensation – This is a full-time position paid on a salaried basis between $45,760 to $54,080 annually, depending on experience and education.
