We are hiring a detail-oriented Architectural Sales Assistant / Estimating Support Specialist to serve as the key operational right-hand to our client's Head of Sales in the United States.
In this role, you will go beyond basic administrative support to actively participate in the pre-sales and estimating workflow. You will perform preliminary soft takeoffs, read and interpret architectural blueprints, analyze project requirements, and input technical specifications into coding systems to generate accurate client quotes. This is an ideal position for Architects, Architectural Technicians, or Civil/Construction Engineers in Colombia with strong blueprint reading skills, excellent English communication, and experience in project coordination or pre-construction support.

What You’ll Do
- Gather initial data from architectural plans, drawings, and project specifications to perform soft takeoffs.
- Input specifications, quantities, and technical project details into internal coding systems for quote generation.
- Prepare, review, and deliver preliminary quotes to the Head of Sales for final approval.
- Communicate directly with clients to request project drawings, technical documentation, and scope clarifications.
- Serve as the central support liaison for the Head of Sales, handling technical and administrative details.
- Answer incoming sales phone calls, assist clients during core U.S. business hours, and route calls to appropriate managers.
- Follow up proactively with clients and internal team members to ensure timely project progression.
What You’ll Bring
- English Level: Advanced Technical & Conversational English (B2+ / C1 mandatory) with professional phone etiquette.
- Experience: 2–4+ years of experience in architectural drafting, construction takeoffs, estimating support, or sales coordination within the AEC industry.
- Blueprint Reading: Exceptional ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, technical drawings, and building specifications.
- Technical Core: Solid understanding of construction terminology, soft takeoff workflows, and technical quoting procedures.
- Education: Degree or coursework in Architecture (Arquitectura), Civil Engineering (Ingeniería Civil), Construction Management, or equivalent practical drafting/estimating experience.
