Primary Focus
Our Architect II’s balance project leadership with client management, team influence, and business development. This position is responsible for detailing of complicated project designs, or construction drawing assignments, with a project team based on technical proficiency, technical problem-solving expertise, work experience, and project constraints. We work with a variety of clients to create aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable spaces for a broad range of projects in healthcare, education, civic, mixed-use, commercial, residential, and more. Background in architecture with strong technical expertise to create and develop detailed construction documents applying their knowledge of and experience with building codes, building systems, site planning, zoning, bid packages, submittals, fieldwork, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimating.

Essential Functions
- Reviews and oversees construction administration and documentation.
- Accountable for accurate code reviews.
- Serves as primary project contact with our clients.
- Develops and delivers comprehensive design presentations and architectural models to clearly communicate project intent.
- Participates with the firm’s overall business development.
- Mentors and leads other architects and technicians.
Experience
- Eight (8) or more years of related architectural work experience.
- Architectural Licensure (US preferred)
- Experience in the use of Revit to effectively produce quality documents.
- Proficient working in Bluebeam to review and coordinate team documentation.
- Proven effective presentation and communication skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Hybrid work format (3 days in office; 2 days remote).
- An authentic studio culture that values teamwork, flexibility, and a shared passion for design.
- Must be able to navigate project sites.
- Valid driver's license.
- English language communication and client interface skills.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for sponsorship.
Education
- Professional degree in architecture from an NCARB accredited program.
