Architect II for Industrial projects

Role description:

This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC), Arcadis' centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Working from GEC Romania, you will collaborate closely with the Belgium team and support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of industrial, defense, energy, manufacturing and logistics projects across Belgium.

Arcadis Romania is seeking an experienced Architect II to join our growing Architecture team working with Belgium team. In this role, you will work alongside senior architects, project managers, technical leaders and BIM specialists, contributing to projects from concept design through permit, detailed design and construction support phases.

Role accountabilities:

• Embrace and demonstrate the Arcadis behavioral framework in your day-to-day work

• Deliver allocated project tasks within agreed budgets, schedules and quality standards.
• Develop architectural BIM models and documentation in accordance with project requirements.
• Produce permit, tender and IFC documentation primarily in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, schedules and technical details under the guidance of senior architects.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian project requirements, client standards and Arcadis quality procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with structural, MEP, fire safety, civil, landscape and specialist disciplines.
• Support coordination activities and participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and clash detection processes.
• Maintain design intent throughout project development while ensuring technical accuracy and constructability.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively within the production team and with project stakeholders.
• Review own work to ensure that it meets specified standards before checking by others.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, BIM development and digital delivery processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• Licensed Architect status (or equivalent professional qualification) is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Proven track record experience in industrial and complex building projects, including manufacturing facilities, logistics centers, utility buildings, industrial campuses, energy or infrastructure-related developments.
• Experience working across multiple project stages, from concept design through permit, detailed design and construction support.
• Strong understanding of industrial building planning principles, operational requirements and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience with Navisworks, ACC, Twinmotion or related visualization and coordination tools is considered an advantage.
• Relevant exposure to projects that involved multi-disciplinary collaboration. Experience working on European projects is an advantage
• Strong communication, proactive mindset ,organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within international project teams.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Interest in digital innovation, automation and continuous process improvement.
