The project centers on the development of a next-generation device platform built around a modern, high-performance microcontroller architecture. Key initiatives include upgrading the underlying operating system, modernizing the platform’s internal communication from a legacy bus to a higher-bandwidth Ethernet-based transport for demanding data and imaging needs, and strengthening the hardware abstraction layer to improve portability and maintainability.
Requirements
8–12 years in software engineering, with a strong focus on designing and architecting enterprise-grade applications. Remote role in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Required Skills
- Expert-level C# and .NET — designing and building robust web applications and services
- Strong software architecture background — defining and governing patterns for scalable enterprise systems
- Frontend experience with Angular or React
- Hands-on experience with public cloud (AWS or Azure)
- Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- Solid grasp of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Relational database expertise (MS SQL Server or Postgres)
- Healthcare industry experience, including relevant compliance and security requirements
- Excellent communication skills — able to work effectively with internal teams, customers, and partners

- Drive the implementation of advanced .NET solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality coding standards.
- Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement across the team.
- Oversee the planning, scoping, and delivery of complex software features within an agile development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Define and enforce architectural patterns and principles to ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance for large-scale healthcare organizations.
- Conduct in-depth research and propose innovative technical solutions to challenging problems related to patient identity and data security.
- Collaborate strategically with product management, QA, and user experience teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver impactful product enhancements.
- Champion the adoption of modern development practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing strategies.
- Provide technical leadership in the design and integration of web applications and services using C# and .NET technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the development process and product capabilities, driving continuous innovation.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of architectural decisions, design specifications, and technical implementations for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Accountable for the technical integrity, performance, and successful delivery of assigned modules and features within the product roadmap.
- Drive initiatives to optimize application performance, security, and maintainability across the platform, ensuring a resilient and efficient system.
