Architect | Permanent WFH

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architect with at least 5 years of professional experience to join our growing architectural team. The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with strong technical production capabilities, advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and hands-on experience delivering commercial, multifamily, and/or country club projects. This role requires a strong understanding of building construction, architectural detailing, BIM production, and design visualization, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality architectural construction drawings and documentation in accordance with firm-specific graphic, drafting, and detailing standards.
• Assist in the early stages of design by developing conceptual layouts, space planning studies, design options, and presentation materials.
• Create architectural renderings and visualizations that effectively communicate design intent to project teams and clients.
• Develop detailed architectural assemblies, wall sections, construction details, and constructability solutions for commercial, multifamily, and country club projects.
• Apply a strong understanding of building construction by designing and detailing solutions before modeling them in BIM.
• Create, maintain, and coordinate accurate 3D Revit models and 2D AutoCAD drawings throughout all phases of project documentation.
• Use freehand sketching to communicate design concepts, construction details, and problem-solving ideas clearly and effectively.
• Ensure all drawings comply with the firm’s Book of Standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and consultants to deliver coordinated, accurate, and timely construction documents.
• Participate in drawing reviews, quality control checks, redline revisions, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Execute architectural production tasks independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Support internal training initiatives, technical assessments, and continuous improvement of production workflows and drafting standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience creating architectural renderings using visualization software such as Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, D5 Render, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu and Autodesk BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Experience working on commercial, multifamily, and/or country club projects.
• Strong understanding of the complete architectural design process, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, visualization, construction documentation, and detailing.
• Solid knowledge of architectural design principles, building systems, construction methods, and constructability.
• Ability to translate design concepts into accurate, coordinated, and buildable construction drawings.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality project documentation.
• Experience working with U.S.-based projects and construction documentation standards.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary BIM coordination workflows.
• Strong presentation and visualization skills.
