We're looking for a *Cadet Estimator* to join our growing Remote-PH team supporting our Australian business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic estimating knowledge who wants hands-on training and career growth in the construction industry. What You'll Do As our Cadet Estimator, you'll support the estimating team by: * Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations * Reading and interpreting construction plans * Creating Bluebeam markups * Assisting in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) * Sending and tracking client quotations * Managing quote requests and estimating documentation * Updating material price lists and coordinating with suppliers * Assisting with purchasing and job management using Tradify * Helping improve estimating systems and processes * Supporting the team in achieving sales targets Required Skills & Experience: • Someone who can work independently with less supervision • Minimum 1-3 years exp with Australian company/client • Proficient in the use of Bluebeam software for creating mark-ups and cost estimates • Acquire knowledge of the standard practices, material, methods and equipment of the plastering trade • Acquire knowledge of the hazards and precautionary measures of the trade. • High level of knowledge of Microsoft Office Suit programs • High level ability to read and interpret plans • Ensuring software is up to date and being used to its full potential • Keeping up to date with latest changes to Bluebeam software including AI tools. • Professional written and verbal communication • High attention to detail • Team player with a positive attitude • Willingness to learn and grow within the business Bonus Points If You Have: * Experience using Bluebeam Revu * Experience with estimating or construction software * Knowledge of Tradify or similar job management platforms * Experience in the Australian construction industry Success in This Role You'll thrive if you enjoy: * Solving problems through numbers and planning * Working accurately under deadlines * Learning new software and technologies * Communicating professionally with clients and suppliers * Continuously improving systems and processes If you're motivated, detail-oriented, and excited to kick start your estimating career, we'd love to hear from you!
