Our core product empowers media ad sales and operations to make quick, confident decisions by giving our customers a single point of access to explore, analyze, and share insights from their advertising business. The Role We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to support our customers by investigating data discrepancies, providing technical guidance, and delivering excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets while collaborating closely with customers and internal teams. Working hours are based on the US/Eastern timezone. Responsibilities Investigate and resolve customer-reported data discrepancies by analyzing reports, metrics, and source data Use Excel extensively (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, filters) to validate data and identify variances Respond to customer inquiries via ticketing systems, email, or calls with clear, timely, and professional communication Provide Tier 1 technical support for reporting, integrations, and data-related questions Document findings, resolutions, and recurring issues to improve internal knowledge bases Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Tier 2/Engineering with clear reproduction steps and analysis Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and CSM teams to ensure accurate and consistent data delivery Help customers understand metrics, definitions, and reporting logic Required Qualifications Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or similar related field. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas, and data filtering Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail Comfort working with large datasets and identifying inconsistencies Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Practical understanding of SQL or reporting tools Preferred Qualifications Exposure to ad tech concepts such as impressions, clicks, revenue, viewability, or attribution Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, ad servers) Experience working with support workflows or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk) What Success Looks Like Customer-reported data issues are investigated thoroughly and resolved accurately Customers feel supported, informed, and confident in their data Clear documentation and escalation that improves resolution time for complex issues Consistent delivery of high-quality customer support while maintaining technical accuracy Department Research & Development Locations Philippines Remote status Fully Remote Philippines About Burt Intelligence Burt Intelligence is changing the way companies work with data.
