The Red Hat Professional Services team is looking for an Architect to join us in Puteaux, France. This role requires active security clearance or the eligibility and willingness to get one, as well as local citizenship.

In this role, you will promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions at our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. You’ll earn the trust and confidence of our customers’ engineering, development, and operations teams by matching their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of our solutions.

As an Architect, you'll have a great opportunity to build on your core base of knowledge and work in a fast-paced environment promoting the adoption of best in class and enterprise standards through Red Hat's portfolio and solutions. You'll work as part of the Red Hat GTM Consulting team that offers more than just technical expertise. You'll serve as a strategic adviser who takes a big picture view of customer organizations, analyzes their challenges, and helps to overcome them with comprehensive solutions.

As part of our team, you'll help customers quickly and strategically achieve value while building enterprise-wide capabilities through our open technologies and consulting approach.

What you will do:

  • Serve as a customer advocate, designing the right solutions and ensuring that they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way
  • Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and inspire customer use cases and architecture design decisions
  • Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments
  • Design, create, and deliver content that will enable the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support our cloud and infrastructure solutions at scale
  • Support our Sales Organization to accelerate emerging technology adoption in our customers and partners. Deliver Scoping / Discover / Navigate activities and support requests for Pre-sales activities.
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeated customer engagements, and lower delivery risks
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and present creative ideas in the community by producing exceptional whitepapers and webinars and by speaking at high-profile industry conferences

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent grade in the IT industry.
  • Prior experience working in a consulting role; ability to deliver in one-on-one assignments
  • Prior delivery and architecture experience (infrastructure background), ideally with focus on private and public cloud infrastructure and platform as a service.
  • Broad and deep technical background in Red Hat OpenShift, Day2Ops, as well as in Hybrid Cloud Providers. Desirable strong technical background in Software-Defined-Storage solutions (like Red Hat Storage) and experience implementing virtualization technologies (traditional and k8s-based) in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments.
  • Deep understanding on DevOps adoption (People, Process & Technology) and CI/CD industry standards.
  • Good understanding of enterprise AI/ML architectures and workloads, including exposure to Red Hat OpenShift AI, RHEL AI, hardware acceleration (GPU integration) and model serving frameworks
  • Desirable knowledge in RHEL and Config. Management & Orchestration (Ansible by Red Hat).
  • Excellent customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and guide customer interactions
  • Understanding of the open source community
  • Excellent problem-solving, Project Management, and planning skills
  • Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification is a plus
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, or the ability to get it within a few weeks of the start date, is a plus
  • Must travel to customers within France and/or EMEA Region
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French language
