The Bright Collective is a versatile creative and production organization specializing in media, event planning, video production, creative communication, and experience marketing. Operating under brands such as Luben, Abaluben, Nerdcult, Burger Fest, Chocolate Fest, and Luben Parties, we craft unique and engaging experiences.

Our operations are based at Bright.Space, a hybrid open-space where creativity and collaboration thrive. We are dedicated to delivering innovative and memorable projects to our clients and audiences.

Role Description

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Architect / Spatial Designer (Experiences & Events) to join our team, either as a full-time member or on a project-based (contractor) basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing physical spaces, custom structures, exhibition booths, event environments, and brand activations.

From initial concepts and 3D visualizations to detailed technical drawings and production-ready designs, you will transform creative ideas into functional, visually engaging, and buildable experiences.

You will work closely with our creative, project management, and production teams to ensure that every design is aesthetically compelling, technically feasible, and aligned with project budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Spatial & Concept Design: Develop creative design concepts for events, exhibition stands, brand activations, pop-up installations, and experiential environments.

3D Design & Visualization: Create 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations using SketchUp and other design tools to communicate concepts effectively.

Technical Drawings: Produce accurate technical and construction drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp, ensuring designs are ready for fabrication and installation.

Material Selection: Research and specify construction, finishing, and decorative materials, balancing aesthetics, durability, practicality, and cost.

Design Development: Translate creative briefs into functional, technically feasible, and budget-conscious spatial solutions.

Production Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, technical production teams, fabricators, and suppliers to ensure designs can be successfully executed.

Budget Awareness: Adapt designs, materials, and construction methods to meet project budgets without compromising the overall creative vision.

AI & Design Tools: Use AI-powered creative tools and 3D software to accelerate concept development, visualization, and design exploration.

Onsite Support: Provide technical and design support during production, installation, and onsite implementation when required.

What we are looking for

Education: Degree in Architecture or a closely related spatial design discipline.

Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in architecture, interior design, spatial design, or a similar field.

Industry Background: Previous experience designing exhibition stands, below-the-line (BTL) activations, event environments, pop-up spaces, or temporary structures will be considered a strong advantage.

Software Skills: Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp, with the ability to produce both 3D concepts and detailed technical drawings.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, fabrication techniques, structural considerations, and installation requirements.

Material Expertise: Very good knowledge of construction and decorative materials, finishes, and their practical applications.

Creative Thinking: Ability to develop original, visually compelling spatial concepts while maintaining a practical, solution-oriented approach.

Budget Awareness: Understanding of how design decisions affect production costs, with the ability to propose realistic alternatives within budget constraints.

AI & Visualization: Familiarity with AI-powered design tools, rendering software, and other 3D visualization platforms.

Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with creative teams, project managers, suppliers, and technical production partners.

Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.

Mobility: Availability for occasional onsite work and limited travel outside Athens when required.
