We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Technician with strong technical drafting, 3D modeling, and visualization capabilities to join our international team remotely from Guyana.

The Position

This is a full-time remote opportunity for an Architectural Technician with a minimum of FIVE years of professional experience, combining strong technical drawing skills with an excellent understanding of architectural design and 3D visualization.

The successful candidate will assist in developing architectural and interior design projects, preparing accurate technical drawings, and producing high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renderings.

Particular importance will be placed on the ability to produce realistic interior and exterior architectural visualizations, with careful attention to materials, textures, lighting, proportions, and architectural details.

Although this is a fully remote position, the candidate will be an integral part of our design team, participating in daily online meetings, design reviews, and regular communication throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Drafting & Technical Documentation

• Prepare accurate architectural floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and construction details.
• Develop and revise architectural drawings based on design concepts, sketches, and project requirements.
• Assist in space planning, residential layouts, and architectural design development.
• Prepare detailed drawings for custom cabinetry, kitchens, wardrobes, built-ins, and architectural millwork.
• Coordinate architectural and interior design drawings to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Organize and maintain project drawing files and technical documentation.

3D Modeling & Photorealistic Rendering

• Create detailed architectural 3D models from drawings, sketches, and design concepts.
• Produce high-quality photorealistic renderings of interior and exterior spaces.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of realistic lighting, shadows, materials, textures, and finishes.
• Develop visualizations of contemporary residential architecture, including facades, terraces, pools, and outdoor living spaces.
• Produce interior renderings of living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and custom architectural features.
• Refine models and renderings based on feedback while preserving the accuracy of the approved design.
• Prepare professional visual presentations for internal reviews and client presentations.

Design Coordination & Remote Collaboration

• Work closely with designers and project managers on multiple residential and hospitality projects.
• Participate in daily online meetings and regular design reviews.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the workday.
• Provide progress updates and meet established project deadlines.
• Identify drawing inconsistencies and proactively communicate technical questions.
• Maintain well-organized digital project files and documentation.

QualificationsEssential Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Excellent architectural drafting and technical documentation skills.
• Strong 3D modeling capabilities and experience producing photorealistic renderings.
• Proficiency in one or more professional visualization platforms such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray, Corona, D5 Render, Enscape, or Lumion.
• Good understanding of residential construction, architectural detailing, materials, and building components.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate design concepts into accurate technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
• Reliable high-speed internet and availability for daily video meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to render both architectural interiors and exteriors.
• Experience working on luxury residential or hospitality projects.
• Knowledge of contemporary architecture and interior design.
• Experience preparing detailed millwork, kitchen, wardrobe, and cabinetry drawings.
• Familiarity with international architectural drawing standards.
• Experience coordinating architectural drawings with interior design and furniture layouts.
• Proficiency in Photoshop or other presentation software.

Position Details

Location: Remote, applicants must currently reside in Guyana.

Employment Type: Full-time.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with working hours coordinated with our Montreal office (Eastern Time).
