Armed Security Officer

City Shield Security Services is looking for people who are passionate about private security to join our Executive Protection team. Applicants must be a current or retired law enforcement officer with a minimum of 10 years experience. Security professionals interested in working private security details in Washtenaw County are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Valid MI CPL and MCOLES certification
• A minimum of 10 years law enforcement experience (current or retired)
• Enforce and comply with company policies, post orders and client instructions
• Provide visual deterrence by maintaining high visibility at all times
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized person/s or unusual occurrences.
• Call emergency departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized person/s.

Requirements:

• Must be current or retired law enforcement or select military personnel.
• 18 years of age or older and legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• High School diploma, driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate with management and client regarding safety concerns during shift
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Report writing when necessary
