You’re a future-focused leader who embraces and helps others adapt to change.
Your innovative mindset is key to creating solutions to complex problems. Our systems drive our organisational success and underpin every journey our customers take. This is your opportunity to be part of an expert team who build and refine seamless technology experiences.
In this role, you'll:
Be working within Group Technology's Chief Data Office, at the start of an exciting new AI journey, with a huge and largely unexplored remit to shape how Transport can use AI across the organisation.
Starting with a blank canvas, you'll build and lead a new team of six from the ground up, setting the AI/ML capability and technical direction, with a focus on Generative and Agentic AI, while establishing the standards and controls needed to deliver secure, scalable and ethical AI solutions.
You'll work across business, technology and governance to lead the technical design, delivery and operationalisation of the common AI capabilities that enable Transport to effectively leverage Generative and Agentic AI, from proof of concept through to production, while providing trusted advice to senior leaders on emerging technologies, opportunities and risks. You'll also define best practice patterns for AI Native software engineering that can be applied across the organisation.
Ultimately, you'll turn the potential of AI into real-world capability that improves how Transport works and delivers for NSW.
