Role Description
The Assistant Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Auckland, reporting to the Finance Manager. This role owns the day-to-day finance operations of the business, including the full accounts receivable and accounts payable cycles, subscription billing and collections, payroll support, and month-end reconciliations. The Assistant Accountant prepares accurate financial records and supporting schedules, assists with balance-sheet reconciliations and reporting, and helps maintain the internal controls behind a fast-growing, multi-entity SaaS business.
The role also supports Comply Pro's small hardware division (order dispatch, reconciliation and stock count), liaises with internal teams and customers to resolve billing and account queries, and contributes ideas for improving and automating finance processes.
This is a genuine growth opportunity: you'll work closely with the Finance Manager with real ownership over your processes, and real scope to broaden your skills as the business scales.
