The Accountant Assistant (M/F/D) supports the Finance team by managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, assisting with month-end and year-end closings, monitoring customer and supplier accounts, supporting treasury operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations. The role also contributes to process improvements and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support the company's financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Process, verify, and record accounting, financial, and tax-related documents;
• Reconcile and monitor customer and supplier accounts;
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities;
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory declarations;
• Contribute to treasury management, including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations;
• Support the management of fixed assets and depreciation records;
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and collection activities;
• Maintain accurate financial records and document archiving;
• Collaborate on process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects;
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal procedures.
Profile
• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field;
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes;
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems;
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn;
• Team player with strong communication skills;
• Good English skills are appreciated.
