Role: Assistant Advisor, Programs
Grade: Service NSW Grade 5/6 salary package starts from $93,490 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary until September 2027
Location: Sydney McKell
Hybrid working available, with a minimum of two days per week in the office. Office attendance will increase in line with operational requirements.

This role sits within Employment & Leadership Programs Team, the Training & Customer Resolution Directorate within the Enterprise, Risk & Enablement Division.

Your day-to-day

  • Support the delivery of employment and recruitment programs that create opportunities for diverse communities by coordinating program activities, engaging with trainees and stakeholders, providing administrative support, and contributing to successful program outcomes.
  • Support improve participant engagement, retention and successful employment outcomes through proactive stakeholder collaboration and post-placement support.
  • Handle enquiries, maintain accurate records, prepare program documentation, and provide administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of employment programs and positive participant outcomes.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on program outcomes to inform continuous improvement and support evidence-based decision making.
  • Enable sustainable career pathways in partnership with leaders across Service NSW and DCS.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience working in high volumes administration, preferably in a recruitment or HR environment
  • Experience in monitoring, evaluation and reporting on program outcomes, using data to demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Proven ability to apply principles of equity, inclusion, and cultural safety in program development and delivery
