Role Description The Assistant Construction Manager is a full-time remote role supporting the planning and execution of hospitality construction projects. This role assists in coordinating daily project activities, including tracking schedules, monitoring progress, and communicating with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The individual helps oversee site safety practices, supports budget and cost controls, prepares and updates project documentation, and assists with resolving issues that may affect timelines or quality. The Assistant Construction Manager also contributes to maintaining construction standards, reviewing work against specifications, and ensuring that project deliverables align with client expectations and company guidelines.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated Supervisory Skills, with the ability to support and coordinate field teams and subcontractors.
• Experience with Budgeting and basic Project Control to help manage costs, track financial performance, and support reporting.
• Knowledge of Construction Safety practices, regulations, and compliance standards relevant to hospitality projects.
• Foundational understanding of Construction processes, materials, and methods used in commercial and hospitality environments.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with diverse project stakeholders in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, project scheduling tools); familiarity with construction management platforms is advantageous.
• Relevant education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across remote and on-site teams.
• Experience in hospitality construction or commercial projects is a plus.
