Assist in conducting quantity take-offs and preparing Bills of Quantities by reviewing drawings and specification sheets.
Support in preparing and presenting order of cost estimates and developing cost plans.
Help in evaluating construction works and producing interim and final payment recommendations.
Assist in assessing and valuing changes and variations.
Support in ensuring that all cost and quantity records are streamlined and properly maintained.
Assist in delivering high-quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet customers’ requirements and comply with business procedures.
Assist in assembling contract documentation.
Support the team in advising on and implementing procurement strategies, risk management, and cost-saving measures.
Assist in producing and presenting reports to clients.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
1 to 3 years post graduate demonstrable experience in different aspects of quantity surveying and construction methods and materials.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and logical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Ability to think creatively and identify cost saving opportunities.
Sound knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and cost planning techniques.
Working knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
Be able to work as part of team.
