Location ST. LOUIS, MO 63130 Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management, Flex Programs engages, cultivates, and converts working professionals for the Flex MBA and the newly launched Flex MS in Finance. Part-time enrollment is an important component of the school’s long-term financial model, and this role serves on the front line of that effort, building relationships with prospective students and helping them navigate an important career and educational decision. Reporting to the Director of Flex Graduate Enrollment Management, the Assistant Director manages candidate relationships from initial interest through enrollment, proactively develops new prospects through direct outreach and employer engagement, and represents both programs at virtual and in-person events. The role directly supports annual enrollment and revenue objectives for the Flex MBA and helps build and grow demand for the Flex MSF. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, personable, and collaborative; listens before pitching; builds rapport quickly; and follows through completely. Consultative sales and business development backgrounds are as welcome as admissions experience. The position is expected to develop a deep understanding of the Flex student experience and curriculum, including participation in the Flex MBA program as professional development when appropriate and eligible under University policies. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Prospect Engagement & Funnel Management Manage prospective students from initial engagement through enrollment, building relationships around each candidate’s career goals, motivations, and constraints. Provide personalized, consultative guidance on program fit and the decision to pursue graduate education while working. Meet the speed-to-lead standard on every assigned inquiry. No qualified inquiry waits. Maintain proactive communication and follow-up by phone, email, text, virtual, and in-person interaction. Re-engage stalled prospects, applicants, and admits. Maintain complete, current, and accurate candidate records in Salesforce. The forecast the team runs on is assembled from these inputs. Prospect Development & Outreach Proactively source new prospects through targeted outreach, referrals, alumni, employer connections, and events—including tabling and on-site recruitment at companies. Support employer, alumni, and community enrollment initiatives led by the Director and the Assistant Dean of Part-Time Programs. Help build early demand for the newly launched Flex MSF: identify audiences, test outreach, and report what converts. Share candidate and market intelligence with the Director. Events & Program Representation Represent the Flex MBA and Flex MSF at virtual and in-person program previews, information sessions, networking events, corporate engagements, and networking events. Present program information and facilitate prospect-facing sessions. Build relationships with event attendees and conduct timely follow-up. Partner with the Director and other Olin teams on event execution. Admissions & Enrollment Support Support Flex admissions and scholarship processes: provide candidate context and insights from ongoing interactions. Decisions are made by the Director and the Assistant Dean of Part-Time Programs. Conduct candidate conversations and interviews as assigned. Guide applicants through next steps and keep them engaged through the decision process. Run admitted-student follow-up and melt-prevention outreach through enrollment, coordinating the handoff to Student Affairs onboarding. Perform other duties as assigned Working Conditions: Job Location/Working Conditions Normal office environment. 5–10% travel, primarily local and regional: employer sites, corporate engagements, and recruitment events. Regular evening and occasional weekend events, with extended hours during peak enrollment periods. Physical Effort Typically sitting at a desk or table.
