Job Overview
The role is based in Manila, Philippines.
Accountabilities

Lead the delivery of complete, accurate, timely, and properly controlled financial results across APAC for Gross-to-Net Sales, including Trade and RD&As, Direct Marketing Expenses (DME), and SG&A.

Perform SOX and management audit activities and support requirements arising from internal and external audit engagements.

Develop and maintain regional procedures, processes, and tools for Trade Promotions, RD&A, and DME while strengthening the region’s commercial accounting methodology and internal controls.

Partner with country finance and commercial teams, providing oversight and guidance on U.S. GAAP reporting, management reporting, and operational analytics.

Evaluate regional contracts and commercial agreements and provide accounting guidance and documentation, with particular focus on distributor arrangements and DME vendors.

Drive continuous process improvement by adopting global template processes and systems and enhancing accounting practices specific to the APAC region.

Support controllership decisions and changes connected to global initiatives, including the centralization of commercial activities with Hershey Trading.

Support the governance and tracking of revenue-recognition triggers, ensuring the consistent, timely, and accurate recognition of financial results.

Collaborate closely with multifunctional commercial, finance, controls, and accounting teams across the region.
Minimum Education & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- At least six years of progressive professional experience, including experience working with a global public company.
- Strong understanding of management accounting, financial controls, and finance processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP and other financial reporting tools.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
