What you’ll be doing
Your role may include, but will not be limited to, the following tasks:
- Manage HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) across the end-to-end performance management process, including goal setting, check ins and end of year conversations.
- Manage oversight of the HR Administrators in the Centre of Excellence to ensure that all HR related processes are administered smoothly, efficiently and accurately to include but not limited to HR catch ups, parental leave, joiners, leavers, flexible working requests.
- Manage the absence management process, including any short- or long-term employee absence cases.
- Supporting with the process for salary reviews, bonus runs and other numerical data.
- Ensuring that all data on the HR database is accurate and up to date at all times.
- Work closely with the HR Administrators, ensuring they are on track with tasks and guide and coach when relevant.
- Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefit team making sure that employee changes have been captured correctly.
- Participation in monthly managers’ meetings preparing analysis and necessary follow-up actions.
- Participation in the wider HR team with HR related projects including monthly payroll checks when required.
Employee Relations
- Liaising with employees and management and dealing with all employee issues in line with best practice and employment law.
- Updating the Employee Handbook as necessary and ensuring relevant communications with employees.
- Assist managers with performance, disciplinary and grievance cases as appropriate.
- Dealing with employee queries and concerns.
- Managing the employee exit process, to include exit interviews and assist with analysing exit data.
HR Projects and Administration
- Support wider people operations team to ensure activities align across the HR Operations and with Gen II values and behaviours.
- HR Operations planning, driving automation and execution through Monday.com.
- Suggest and follow ongoing improvements in the HR Operations team.
- Support and participate in ad hoc projects which aim to improve the activities in the P&I function.
- Assist with ad hoc data analysis and reporting requirements
Process and control
- Ensure all work is undertaken in compliance with process and procedure, relevant regulatory requirements, and that sensitive data is shared in accordance with data protection requirements.
- Support monitoring of KPIs (including those agreed with the Head of People Operations.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulation and market best practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION
- Ideally hold a Bachelors degree
- CIPD Level 5, similar or equivalent in experience
- 4+ years relevant experience in Human Resources, including Employee Relations Management and administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, advanced in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working within the financial services industry

Role Location/Hybrid Schedule
This role is based in our Jersey office, where the required office attendance is minimum 3 days a week. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken are dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
