Assistant Professor of Counseling Education (Online) Remote - West Palm Beach, FL 33401 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Education Level Doctoral Apply Assistant Professor of Counseling Education SUMMARY The School of Education and Behavioral Studies invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant in the CACREP-accredited Counselor Education program. The successful candidate will teach in the Master of Science in Counselor Education program and will demonstrate a strong commitment to the Christian faith, excellence in teaching, and a passion for preparing future counselors. Within the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, faculty members prepare students for clinical licensure through a rigorous academic curriculum, field-based experiential learning, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and intentional mentoring relationships. STATUS: This position is based on our West Palm Beach campus and may include both on-campus and remote teaching responsibilities. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Qualifications EDUCATION: Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program, required. Licensed or license eligible as a professional counselor or related credential, required. QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess knowledge of CACREP standards and accreditation processes. Strong analytical and communication skills are an essential element of the position. Prior experience with online and hybrid course delivery, preferred. 2+ years prior teaching experience in higher education and a record of scholarly activity, preferred.
