Assistant Research Scientist

Role Description This is a part-time, remote Owner role responsible for overseeing the overall direction and operations of Good World Management. The owner will define strategic priorities, develop business plans, and make key decisions on partnerships, services, and investments. Typical day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial performance, coordinating with contractors or vendors, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role also involves setting and refining workflows, maintaining the company’s online presence, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. The owner will continuously evaluate new opportunities, optimize resources, and uphold the organization’s values in all business activities.

Qualifications

• Strong business management and leadership skills, including strategic planning, decision-making, and operational oversight.
• Experience with financial management, budgeting, and basic accounting practices to track and guide company performance.
• Proficiency with remote work tools, digital communication platforms, and basic project management methodologies.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and contractors, with excellent communication skills.
• Comfort with managing websites or digital presence, including coordinating with designers, developers, or marketing professionals as needed.
• Self-directed work style, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a part-time capacity.
• Prior experience in entrepreneurship, consulting, or small business ownership is highly beneficial.
