Your Role at Reputation:

Reputation.com is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Associate Accountant to join our world class Accounting team working directly for the Senior Manager, Accounting. In this role, you will be a key player in the month-end close process, while supporting the Company’s growth by participating in ad-hoc projects and improving upon current processes. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about technology and finance, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate for this role has a background in accounting and has at least one year of accounting experience with a passion for continued education. Major job duties include maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; preparing and analyzing account reconciliations; and performing operating expense and cost analyses.

How You’ll Shape the Experience:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts
• Execute mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting, and data verification, enabling senior staff to analyze options and make financial decisions aligned with company objectives
• Assist with the ongoing automation of our operational processes and help drive the creation of standardized accounting procedures
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper expense allocation and coding.
• Process and record employee travel expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.Work cross-functionally with different Accounting and Finance team members to standardize policies and assist in the creation of internal controls
• Assist with external financial audits by providing supporting documentation and materials as requested for annual and interim periods
• Continuously identify and develop solutions for process improvement
• Additional duties as assigned

The Skills That Set You Apart:

• 2+ years of related experience in corporate accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field experience may also apply.
• High-tech/SaaS industry experience a plus
• Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented mindset, and a high sense of urgency
• A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Workday, NetSuite, Intacct, or similar ERP experience preferred

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• A passion for blank canvases to implement process improvements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and a fit in our fast-paced, inclusive culture

Where You'll Work

We know great work can happen anywhere. You’ll have the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, joining us in person typically 2 or 3 days a week (subject to change) and working from home the rest of the week. Reputation has offices in Scottsdale, AZ, Lehi, UT, San Ramon and San Jose, CA, Hyderabad, India, and Liverpool, UK.
