Associate Attorney

Description JOB DESCRIPTION Faber and Brand, LLC, is a highly successful law firm in Columbia, MO employing several attorneys who practice in many states with a focus on creditors’ rights, including some of the nation's largest financial institutions, hospitals, and insurance companies. Our outstanding team is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing civil practice. There are opportunities for courtroom experience, legal research and writing, negotiations, business and workflow management, intellectual technology, and more! We offer in-depth training, room for advancement for motivated candidates, as well as a comfortable compensation package that does not require billable hours. Remote work is available. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Court appearances (which include trave)l. Drafting and/or reviewing legal correspondence and pleadings. Able to be organized and responsible for daily personal tasks. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: J.D. and licensed to practice law in one of the state in which we practice. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, typing and other basic computer skills. Strong data entry skills and the ability to multi-task. High degree of attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and a pleasing professional demeanor. Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations. Must always maintain confidentiality.
