About the Role We are seeking ambitious, driven attorneys who want to work on meaningful, high-impact litigation that carry real economic and societal impact. Our associates gain substantial responsibility early, working closely with accessible partners in a no-drama, highly collaborative environment. You will join a team that values depth over volume, intensity over routine, and professional growth over hierarchy. What You Will Do Prepare and argue critical motions and participate in key court hearings. Contribute to strategic decision making throughout each case. Draft high-quality pleadings and contested motions, including complaints, oppositions to motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and class certification briefing. Manage complex discovery, including client productions, e-discovery workflows, search term development, and adversarial meet-and-confers. Oversee document review processes and ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency. Take and defend depositions and collaborate with expert witnesses. Participate in business development and occasional professional conferences (subsidized by the firm). About You Exceptional legal writer with excellent analytical and communication skills. Proactive self-starter who embraces a steep learning curve and becoming a subject matter expert. Effective oral advocate, confident in your judgment and decision-making, especially in high-pressure and fast-moving environments. Highly organized with exceptional time and project-management abilities. Skilled at navigating interpersonal dynamics within the firm and managing relationships with co-counsel and external stakeholders. Creative in your problem-solving approach and capable of developing solutions in shifting circumstances. Curious and strategic, you enjoy complex litigation, intellectual challenges, and precedent-setting legal questions. Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar or New York State Bar. 5–10 years of litigation experience, preferably in antitrust, class actions, or complex litigation. Clerkship experience is highly valued. Reporting Relationship Reports directly to the Executive Director. Work Schedule The position is eligible for hybrid work (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Some travel and schedule flexibility required.
