Beauty With a Higher Purpose!

Pacifica Beauty has been a trailblazer in clean, cruelty-free beauty since 1996, offering natural, sustainable products that empower individuals to express their unique beauty while respecting the planet. Our mission is to create high-performance skincare, makeup, fragrance, and body care that promote self-care, wellness, and environmental consciousness. With a commitment to innovation, integrity, and compassion for people, animals, and the planet, we strive to inspire positive change in the beauty industry and beyond. Join us in redefining beauty and inspiring conscious living, one product and one person at a time.

What You'll Do:

We’re looking for a curious, consumer-obsessed Associate Brand Manager who understands the beauty and wellness landscape, thinks strategically and takes real ownership in execution. Partnering closely with the Brand Leader, you’ll bring brand strategy and launches to life across Product Development, Creative, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Finance.

You’ll also be the hub for content: pulling UGC and brand assets into one coordinated monthly go-to-market, proofing everything before it goes out, and sharing it across every channel, retail partner and commercial team, so Pacifica always shows up as a complete 360.

Location: NYC Area required, Hybrid

Reports to: VP of Marketing, Community + Product

Type: Full-time

Comp: $85-$100k Based on experience

Who You Are:

  • Strategic thinker. You’re always curious, knowing not only what’s happening now but what’s next. You look beyond execution, connect the dots, challenge assumptions and bring ideas and recommendations.
  • Consumer-obsessed. You know what motivates our consumer, how their needs are evolving and what drives their purchase decisions.
  • Plugged into beauty, wellness and indie brands. You follow emerging brands, competitors, innovation, culture and trends, and know what they mean for Pacifica.
  • An owner. You own outcomes, not just tasks. You drive work forward, follow through, solve problems and hold yourself accountable for results.
  • Proactive. You spot opportunities, anticipate challenges and come with solutions instead of waiting for direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Launches + brand plans: Drive annual brand plans, launches and commercialization across key retail channels, keeping cross-functional timelines, milestones and launch dates on track.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Align Product Development, Creative, Integrated Marketing, Sales, Operations and Supply Chain on readiness, messaging and timing, and keep everyone informed.
  • Launch tools: Build launch playbooks, product briefs, messaging frameworks, retailer presentations and commercialization materials.
  • Business insight: Analyze sales, consumer insights, syndicated data, retailer trends and competitive activity, and turn what you find into recommendations.
  • Portfolio + innovation: Track assortment, hero SKU productivity, promotions and new launches; coordinate product information, competitive research, claims, pricing and launch readiness for innovation.
  • Content hub: Collect UGC, creator content and brand assets into a monthly go-to-market aligned to the marketing calendar, organized by month, campaign, SKU and channel, with usage rights, dates and specs.
  • Omnichannel dissemination: Share approved assets across DTC, social, email and retail partners (Walmart, Amazon, Whole Foods), and with Sales, Customer Marketing and eCommerce, so every channel has what it needs on time.
  • Copy + proofing: Write hooks, headlines and retailer and PDP copy, and proof every asset from Design for accuracy, claims, brand voice, specs and retailer requirements.
  • 360 coverage: With the Brand Leader, make sure every launch is fully covered across product, content, retail, digital and community, with no gaps.
  • Reporting + process: Prepare business recaps and leadership updates, and keep improving how the team works together.
  • BA or BS and 2–5 years in brand management, marketing, product marketing or CPG; beauty or wellness experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel and PowerPoint; syndicated data and retailer reporting experience a plus.
  • Exceptional project management and attention to detail, with a track record of juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A strong writer who can craft hooks and headlines and deliver clean, proofed copy.
  • A clear communicator who builds strong relationships across teams.
  • Understanding of omnichannel and retail partner content needs (Walmart, Amazon, Whole Foods); DAM or SharePoint and UGC usage rights experience a plus.
  • A genuine passion for beauty, wellness and building meaningful brands.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Employee discounts on Pacifica Beauty products.
  • A supportive and inclusive work culture that values diversity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Meaningful work that makes a positive impact on people and the planet.
