The Impact of Associate Consultant, Managed Service to Coupa: As a Sourcing Consultant at Coupa, you will support procurement and sourcing teams through accurate data collection, synthesis, and reporting. You will have an impact in enabling strategic decision-making by delivering clean, categorized, enriched, and insightful data related to spend analysis, category management, and sourcing strategies. You will have the ability to deliver Coupa Sourcing events through RFx build, supplier management, event execution, and results analysis. What You’ll Do: Gather procurement, supplier, contract, and transactional data from ERP systems, procurement tools, and external sources. Ensure completeness and accuracy of raw data before processing. Work closely with category managers, finance, and sourcing teams to identify relevant data points. Data Cleaning & Synthesis: Normalize and cleanse large data sets to ensure consistency (e.g., vendor names, commodity codes, cost centers). Enrich data through classification techniques such as UNSPSC, taxonomy mapping, addressability, savings opportunities, RFx strategy, procurement and invoice channels, etc. Use Excel, Coupa AI Classification, Advanced Analytics, or other tools to aggregate and structure data for analysis. Data Output & Reporting: Generate standardized reports and category insights to support sourcing strategy development. Deliver timely and accurate output to stakeholders for reviews and decision-making. Sourcing Execution: Utilize Coupa Sourcing on behalf of the customer to execute sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) including data collection, RFx build, supplier outreach and management, RFx execution, and the packaging of all results. Key Focus Areas: Spend Analysis Category Analysis Supplier Performance & Compliance Sourcing Opportunity Identification Strategic Sourcing What you will bring to Coupa: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field 2+ years in a data analyst, procurement support, or sourcing consultant role Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Familiarity with procurement and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa) Preferred: Experience with Coupa AI Classification, Coupa Advanced Analytics, Coupa Sourcing Knowledge of procurement processes and sourcing lifecycle Exposure to classification standards (UNSPSC, etc.) Coupa complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding equal opportunity and offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
