Associate (Corporate & Data Privacy)

We are currently looking for an Associate to join our Corporate Law and Commercial Litigation Department. The role offers very diverse practice areas and opportunities for professional self-improvement, as well as the chance to be part of a friendly, well-structured team.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in law from a reputable university, LL.M. degree is an asset.

· Minimum 3-4 years of post-qualification experience excluding the legal internship.

· Experience in Contracts Law, Data Protection Law (KVKK and GDPR), Commercial Law, and trade registry procedures.

· Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

· Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, both in English and Turkish.

· Proficiency in MS Office applications, UYAP and preferably Attornaid.

· Commitment to continuous learning and self-development.

· Ability to research and follow-up with analysis and reporting skills.

· Ability to meet deadlines consistently and manage time efficiently.

· Strong work ethic and integrity.

· No military obligation for male candidates is preferred.

· No restriction to travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Providing day-to-day legal assistance as requested by the business units of the clients.

· Advising clients on legal and regulatory aspects of their business operations and projects.

· Assisting clients with trade registry procedures and corporate filings, including the preparation and submission of relevant applications and documentation.

· Representing clients before the courts and administrative authorities.

· Participating in drafting, reviewing and executing various types of agreements, policies, procedures, notices.

· Conducting legal research for advisory matters.

Please note that the position is located in Maslak, Sarıyer/İstanbul, Park Plaza. After the first 6 (six) months of employment, hybrid work model can be adopted.
