- Track record of taking transactions, strategic partnerships or growth initiatives from idea, analysis to execution, with clear ownership of substantive workstreams
- A hands-on approach, sound prioritization and the ability to manage several workstreams in a fast-moving business
- Excellent analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical and operational requirements into actionable business outcomes
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at executive level both internally and externally
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Develop evidence-based views on the AI market, including business models, competitive dynamics and inference economics, and translate them into recommendations for IREN
- Drive the development and execution of IREN's strategy up the stack, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to ensure commercial and technical alignment
- Evaluate build, partner, invest and acquire options, assessing strategic fit, commercial potential, financial returns and execution risks
- Source and assess strategic partnerships, investment opportunities and potential acquisitions; build relationships with founders, executives, investors and advisers
- Elevate IREN’s presence and relationships in the SF AI ecosystem to generate market intelligence, partnership ideas and top of funnel deal flow
- Build financial models, valuations and business cases, and lead commercial and financial diligence in coordination with technical, legal and other specialist teams
- Manage priority strategic partner relationships, agree commercial objectives and joint plans, and track performance against those objectives
- Support the broader Commercial team in developing and refining IREN's go-to-market strategy for its AI Cloud services
- Prepare and present materials for executive and board-level audiences on AI strategy, partnerships, and commercial opportunities, clearly presenting evidence, economics, risks and decisions required
