Role Summary We are seeking a highly driven Platform Product Owner (PO) to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the foundational platform that powers our cutting-edge payments application. The ideal candidate is a seasoned techno-functional leader with deep experience in banking technology, strong architecture and solutioning expertise, and a hands-on mindset to bridge business goals with platform capabilities. As the PO for our platform, you will work at the intersection of product, engineering, architecture, and operations to ensure our core platform evolves in line with business needs, modern architecture principles, and enterprise-grade scalability. What You’ll Do Define, own, and manage the product roadmap for the platform in alignment with the strategic direction of our payments application. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, QA, architecture, business, and operations to ensure smooth delivery. Prioritize backlog items based on business impact, technical dependencies, and delivery feasibility. Act as the voice of the platform, communicating roadmap updates, capability rollouts, and platform benefits to business and technical audiences. Monitor and evaluate platform performance and continuously identify opportunities for improvement, modernization, and innovation. Ensure that all platform-level work adheres to regulatory, security, and compliance standards in the payments domain. Continuously evaluate and optimize infrastructure and design patterns for maximum efficiency, reusability, and future-readiness. Define and enforce platform-wide non-functional requirements (NFRs) related to performance, reliability, and security. Ensure alignment of platform architecture and operational standards with industry benchmarks and best practices (e.g., latency, throughput, uptime SLAs). What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. 12 to 15 years of experience in Banking IT with a strong focus on platforms, architecture, or product solutioning (payments domain preferred). Proven track record in solution architecture and design across banking or financial services domains. Experience with platform product ownership or roadmap management is highly desirable. Strong functional knowledge of the banking/payments ecosystem, including payment orchestration, settlement, and reconciliation flows. Technical proficiency in one or more industry-standard BPM tools, orchestration engines, or workflow platforms. Hands-on understanding of integration technologies including APIs (REST, SOAP), middleware, event-driven architecture, and data pipelines. Working experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and sprint planning. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — able to collaborate across technical and business teams. High attention to detail with excellent documentation and presentation skills. Exposure to AI-driven use cases or intelligent automation is an added advantage.
