Associate Director, Field Sales
Indirect Tax Solutions
About the Role

This role is particularly well-suited for a sales leader with experience leading teams selling software and technology solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or broader ERP ecosystem. The ideal candidate understands how enterprise applications integrate through APIs and partner ecosystems to deliver business value and can effectively lead teams pursuing complex, consultative sales opportunities.
Following Wolters Kluwer's acquisition and integration of Marosa, experience with VAT, global indirect tax compliance, e-invoicing, or cross-border tax solutions is highly desirable.

- Monitor team performance against revenue objectives and implement coaching and development plans as needed.
- Identify emerging market opportunities related to indirect tax automation, VAT compliance, e-invoicing, and digital tax transformation initiatives.
- Represent Wolters Kluwer at industry conferences, partner events, and customer executive meetings.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer success.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software or technology sales leadership experience managing quota-carrying sales teams.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise sales teams selling complex SaaS, tax technology, ERP-adjacent, fintech, or compliance solutions.

- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive sustained revenue growth.
- Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and sales operating discipline.
- Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
Preferred Qualifications

- Understanding of API-driven software integrations and enterprise technology ecosystems.
- Experience working with strategic alliance partners, channel partners, systems integrators, or consulting firms.
- Indirect tax, sales and use tax, VAT, e-invoicing, or tax technology experience strongly preferred.
- Experience selling into Finance, Tax, IT, or Digital Transformation organizations within large enterprises.
