Kroll is seeking an Associate - Invoice Coordinator to support Discovery & Analytics Solutions matters from India. The role coordinates invoice preparation, matter billing, reconciliation, and billing-status tracking in partnership with delivery leaders, finance, and account teams. It is well suited to a detail-oriented billing or finance-operations professional interested in supporting complex global client engagements; prior eDiscovery experience is helpful but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare recurring and matter-specific invoice support packages using approved billing information and established timelines.

  • Coordinate with project teams to validate matter codes, time entries, expenses, rates, purchase-order requirements, and billing instructions.

  • Reconcile draft invoices against matter trackers, approved budgets, and supporting records; identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Maintain billing-status trackers, including draft, review, approval, submission, rejection, adjustment, and collection-support status.

  • Follow up on missing information and escalate aging or blocked items to the appropriate delivery or finance lead.

  • Maintain organized billing documentation and support periodic revenue and work-in-progress reporting, helping delivery and finance leaders understand billing progress, resolve issues, and keep matters on track.

  • Support matter setup, billing close-out, and continuous improvement of invoice workflows.

  • Handle financial and client information in accordance with confidentiality and data-handling requirements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

  • Typically, 2 or more years of experience in billing operations, project accounting, professional-services administration, or a related role.

  • Strong spreadsheet skills, including organizing and reconciling data, maintaining accurate trackers, and identifying discrepancies, together with strong documentation and organizational skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple matters.

  • Familiarity with eDiscovery, legal operations, litigation support, or managed review engagements, including associated billing and financial tracking requirements, is a plus.

  • Clear written communication skills and the ability to follow up professionally with project, finance, and account stakeholders to resolve outstanding billing items.

  • Experience with professional-services billing, enterprise financial systems, e-billing platforms, or similar workflow tools is an advantage.

This India-based role involves regular collaboration with colleagues in other regions. Office location, hybrid-working arrangements, and working-hours expectations will be discussed during the recruitment process, and the role might demand working in India afternoon, evening shifts and weekends.
