Associate – Level 1 - QA

RMgX Technologies is a Digital Product Engineering firm focused on AI-powered product development, digital transformation, and complex systems integration. We are seeking a Data Specialist to play a key role in a mission-critical project. The role demands deep expertise in databases, ETL processes, and data workflows, with a strong sense of ownership and structured way of working. You will play a critical role in ensuring reliable, accurate, and scalable data systems that power the products and systems developed by RMgX We need only those team members who are passionate about delivering high quality output, extremely strong drive to learn and who continuously engage in experimentation, improvement, proof of concepts & take their assignments to completion within the stipulated time. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and specifications. Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality. Defect documentation and having oversight over defect lifecycle. Participate in the design and implementation of automated test suit. Provide detailed and clear bug reports to the development team. Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing. Completed BE, B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent ISTQB Foundation certification preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE 0-1 year of experience in software testing. SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE Solid understanding of SDLC and corresponding QA activities Good practical knowledge of test management and reporting tools preferably Jira Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities, Ability to be decisive and detail-oriented Ability to function with minimal oversight and work under pressure Willing to learn and implement test automation frameworks Understanding of any Object-Oriented Language preferably Java Understanding of API and familiarity with Postman Preferred Skills: Working knowledge of JavaScript and Playwright for test automation. Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting concepts is an added advantage.
