The opening
A family group in the Gulf wants to sell in the United States next year and has to decide where to start, with whom and on what budget. Dune works that out with them, and the Associate Management Consultant does a large share of the analysis: market sizing, distributor and partner assessments, first-customer lists and the operating plan behind them.
The clients and their meetings are in the Gulf, so this role is based in the UAE. You will work with the consultants in Dubai and send your work to the partners in Las Vegas, who start their day about half a day after you. Full-time and remote from anywhere in the UAE.
Dune Strategy is a management consultancy based in Las Vegas. A good share of our clients are Gulf companies getting ready for their first sales in the U.S., which is why part of the team sits in the UAE.
What fills your week

• Size U.S. markets and segments with data from databases, filings and interviews
• Assess potential distributors and partners against the client's criteria
• Build the financial and operating models behind each market entry plan
• Prepare slides and lead parts of client workshops in Dubai
• Draft the written recommendations the partners review
• Track open questions and next steps for each engagement

Who we are looking for

• Degree (bachelor's) in business, economics, engineering or a related field
• One to two years in consulting, strategy, corporate development or an analyst role (internships count)
• Financial modelling in Excel and slide writing in PowerPoint
