Join a role that sits at the intersection of business operations, risk management, and ethics. As Associate Manager, Compliance, you will support the execution and continuous enhancement of the Compliance Program in Brazil while contributing to regional initiatives across Latin America. This position works closely with business stakeholders to provide compliance guidance, support key processes, and help maintain effective controls that align with regulatory requirements and company policies.
What You Will Do-
- Support the execution and continuous improvement of the Compliance Program across Brazil and regional projects in Latin America.
- Provide compliance guidance to employees and business partners on policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct due diligence reviews and support risk assessments related to third parties, business activities, and compliance initiatives.
- Review and coordinate approvals for activities including educational events, healthcare professional engagements, bids, tenders, and consulting payments.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend practical solutions that support business operations while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Maintain compliance records, documentation, and systems, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner.
- Investigate and escalate documentation inconsistencies or compliance concerns as appropriate.
- Deliver compliance training on applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements.
What You Will Need-
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Legal, or a related function.
- Fluent Portuguese and English skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting compliance reviews, risk assessments, audits, investigations, or related governance activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Compliance, Law, Business Administration, Audit, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Experience in the Life Sciences, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or related regulated industry.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish.

Work Flexibility
- Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
- Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
- Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
- Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
