About the Job:

Taco Bell is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Marketing Analysis team in Finance. This role partners closely with Marketing, Digital, Food Innovation, Operations, and Supply Chain to evaluate business performance and support data-driven decision-making. The Associate Manager is instrumental to launching the unique and craveable products that are Taco Bell’s secret sauce.

As a key member of the team, this individual will develop financial insights, strategies, and recommendations throughout the testing, development, and execution phases of marketing initiatives. You’ll play a key role in new and existing products, pricing and menu board strategy, and driving profitable sales growth.

Necessary strengths include: financial modeling and analysis, strategic problem solving, data analysis, a great attitude, high levels of accountability, and ability to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable independently investigating business questions, pressure-testing assumptions and narratives, identifying underlying business drivers, and translating complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional leadership.

This is a dynamic point of entry to Taco Bell; successful members of the team can move to roles in several different parts of the finance team or into other areas across Taco Bell and YUM! brands.

The Day-to-Day:

• Finance ownership for layer(s) of product marketing calendar (e.g.: innovation, value, etc.)
• Providing thought leadership and partnering cross-functionally to bring the finance point of view to solve challenges in real time, while collectively developing holistic recommendations for next steps and future enhancements
• Leading ad hoc analysis to diagnose performance, distill actionable insights, and construct and present recommendations for path forward/pivots to maximize performance
• Determining product sales mix and profit impact of marketing campaigns
• Conducting breakeven analysis and pro forma development
• Advising stakeholders on the financial impact of product promotion decisions
• Cost of sales forecasting and supply chain projections
• Analysis of product test market and national marketing promotions
• Providing and presenting financial and strategic recommendations in designing product ideas and campaigns
• Influencing cross functional partners, routinely at the Manager through Director level

Is This You?

• BA required; analytical degree preferred (e.g., Economics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• MBA a plus
• 6+ years relevant work experience (Corporate Finance, analytical/insights-driven roles, Consulting, Investment Banking, etc.)
• Strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, and logical thinking
• Desire to have a large impact on our organization with a can-do attitude
• Superb interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a team environment and partner cross functionally
• Resourceful nature with an ability to build business cases through financial models, data, and relevant assumptions
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to work independently and multi-task in a complex, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
• Ability to communicate and present at the executive level among key Taco Bell and Franchise stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to meet deadlines
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI, SQL or data querying language

Work-Hard, Play-Hard:

• Hybrid work schedule (onsite expectation Tues, Wed, Thurs) and year-round flex day Friday
• Onsite childcare through Bright Horizons
• Onsite dining center and game room (yes, there is a Taco Bell inside the building)
• Onsite dry cleaning, laundry services, and carwash
• Onsite gym with fitness classes and personal trainer sessions
