Associate Medical Director

Hello Alpha is seeking a full-time (0.8-1.0 FTE) Physician with a passion for patient advocacy and improving the way people access healthcare today. The Physician will work collaboratively under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), provide direct patient care virtually on our telemedicine platform, and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Key areas of ownership that you will drive forward for the organization personally, and collaborating cross-functionally: Clinical: Further Alpha's mission of empowering women to take control of their healthcare: Provide direct patient care on Hello Alpha’s telemedicine platform Work with the CMO to manage the peer-review process of APPs Provides supervision of the clinical staffing, serving as a collaborative physician for APPs as assigned Completes and maintains patient records in accordance with procedures utilizing our internal electronic health record system Compliance: Practices within appropriate evidence-based clinical guidelines in general medicine, women’s health, and other specialty care Participates in the review, revision, and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure medical practices are in full compliance with regulatory requirements as directed by the CMO Ensures proper records/documents in accordance with clinic policies and procedures, contractual obligations, regulations, and funding sources Education: Host weekly office hours for the APPs; prepare quarterly education lectures as assigned You should bring expertise in these areas and can help to uplevel the team in… Valid and unrestricted Medical Licenses in the United States 20+ state licensure required including Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee Graduated from an accredited allopathic US Medical School Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Obstetrics/Gynecology with a practice foundation in Women’s Reproductive Health and/or Obesity Medicine Ability to perform clinical duties within established guidelines in an organized, efficient manner Previous Telemedicine (asynchronous and synchronous) experience highly preferred Exhibits a high level of professionalism Position Details: Full time (0.8-1.0 FTE) Hiring range: $180K-$250K Remote; asynchronous
