SGK and SGS & Co have built an impressive roster in creative, strategy, digital commerce, experiential marketing, engineering, and creative content production—bringing together the incredible talent of 2,300 agency professionals. This collective expertise will come together under Marks, a Next-Gen Creative Platform built to thrive in today's global and local cultural conversations. Equator will continue to play an important role as an agency within Marks.
ROLE
We are looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Associate Producer to join our Content Studio team.
Working closely with Producers and Senior Producers, you will support the day-to-day delivery of creative CGI production projects, helping coordinate teams, timelines, budgets and project documentation to ensure work moves through the studio smoothly and efficiently.
You will be comfortable working with creative and production teams including Art Directors, CGI Artists, Motion Graphics Designers and Retouchers, building an understanding of how high-quality brand assets are produced and delivered within a fast-paced, globally connected studio environment.
This is a hands-on production role for someone looking to develop their experience and build towards managing increasingly complex projects independently. You will be detail-focused, highly organised and a confident communicator who enjoys solving problems, keeping projects on track and supporting the wider team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Producers and Senior Producers with the day-to-day management and delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate project timelines, schedules, actions and deliverables across creative and production teams.
- Manage smaller or less complex projects independently, with support and oversight from more senior Producers where required.
- Help prepare project estimates, budgets and timing plans, developing an understanding of commercial and production requirements.
- Track project scope, schedules and costs, escalating potential risks or changes to the appropriate Producer or Senior Producer.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with internal teams and Client Service teams regarding project status, requirements and delivery.
- Coordinate project resource requirements and work with Producers and Resource Managers to ensure the right teams are briefed and scheduled.
- Support the briefing, onboarding and coordination of freelance and third-party production partners where required.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including estimates, purchase orders, briefs, schedules and delivery information.
- Ensure project files, approvals, feedback and production information are organised and kept up to date throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate internal reviews, client feedback and amends, ensuring actions are clearly communicated to production teams.
- Support final delivery and quality-control processes to ensure assets are supplied accurately, on time and to the required specification.
- Build strong working relationships across local and global studio teams.
- Contribute to improving production processes and ways of working across the studio.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced production environment.
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with creative, production and Client Service teams.
- Good understanding of project timelines, dependencies and the importance of managing scope.
- Numerically confident and comfortable working with estimates, budgets and project costs.
- Able to identify potential production issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Willingness to learn, take ownership and develop increasing levels of production responsibility.
- Comfortable working with globally connected teams across different studio locations and time zones.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an interest in developing experience across production and project-management platforms.
NICE TO HAVE
- 1–3 years' experience within a creative agency, production studio or similar environment.
- Some experience supporting CGI, motion, retouching, photography or post-production projects.
- Experience working within brand, packaging, content or integrated creative production.
- Familiarity with project-management or production-management tools such as ShotGrid, Jira, Trello or Workfront.
- Experience working with globally distributed creative or production teams.
- An interest in CGI, digital content production and emerging creative-production technologies.
